Measurement Guide

Here's how to measure your required magnetic mesh screen size:

• It is pretty easy to find the required screen size, just measure length and width of the complete frame where you want to install the screen. (Note: We do not add any further measurements to the size you provide to us)
• The width of our velcro border is about 1 Inch so you consider that in your measurements.
• And that is the required size for your magnetic mesh screen.

Installation Guide

Simply attach the screen to your frame with the provided velcro tape strips, for more stability you can use nails which we also provide inside the box. The magnetic mesh screen is lined with strong magnetic strips which automatically close as you walk through it so you're always protected from insects and pests.

Opening Guide

Please refer to the table below to understand the minimum and maximum number of magnetic opening(s) you can have according to your screen size.

We can place the magnetic opening(s) at custom places according to your needs but remember any individual part of the screen cannot be bigger than 59 Inches continuously without a opening.

The screen in the above image is not possible to make because one part of the screen is 65 Inches, that is bigger than the threshold (59 Inches) so we cannot make it, however this problem can be solved by adding one more opening in the 65 Inch part or by relocating the existing opening so that both side parts of the screen comes under the threshold (59 Inches).

 

The screen in the above image is possible to make because now that part of the screen is 32 Inches, that is smaller than the threshold (59 Inches) so we can make it.

FAQs

Why magnetic mesh screen?

A flying Anopheles mosquito inside your house is a possible carrier of the malaria-causing parasite Plasmodium. Their bite can transmit the parasite to you. 

But you can protect your home, your indoor space, your health and your family's with our Magnetic Mesh Screen. It keeps mosquitoes, flies, bugs and a host of other flying insects out.

It is also known as magnetic screen door, magnetic screen curtain, magnetic screen window, insect screen, bug off screen, magic screen.

 

How does it work? 

Its middle magnetic opening is equipped with 20 magnets, so the two halves of the screen will close on its own after you enter or exit. 

You can walk right through it hands free. Unlike other anti-mosquito nets, it allows air to pass through it as well promoting better circulation of indoor air.

 

I don't want the magnetic opening to be in middle, can you place it where I want? 

Yes we can absolutely do this for you, you can send us an email where you can mention your requirements and we will take care of it.

 

Is it windproof?

Our magnetic mesh screen is partially windproof so it doesn't get blow away by wind easily, however we do include some accessories in the package that can help you make it wind resistant.

 

Can this be taken down easily? I'm interested in it being up for just the warmer months.

It can be taken down easily but there are two methods for fastening. One is the double sided velcro tape which cannot be easily taken down. The other is push pins which are easily removed but will leave small holes behind.

 

Does it blocks sunlight?

No, it does not blocks sunlight as it is meant to be breathable and transparent.

 

Is there a lace on the top?

No, by default there is no lace at the top but if you would like to have a lace then we can add that too at no extra cost, just email us.

 

Does it have vertical lines (stripes) in it?

No by default there is no vertical lines present in the screen but if you want to add them then we can do that for you, just email us.

 

I can't use nails on my frame, how can I attach the screen?

We provide velcro tape inside the package which can be used to attach the screen without using nails.

 

I have a metal frame, can you put magnets on top and sides to attach?

Yes, recently we started doing this too after we received a lot of requests from our lovely customers for this customization. Just put it in the note section or email us that you want magnets on top or sides or both and we will produce it accordingly. This way you will be able to put the screen on the frame without using nails or velcro.
